Week 6 Term 2

This week we learnt a lot on maths. I learnt heaps on ratio and how to simplify them. After using Mathletics, I learnt how to add fractions. I remember that you can cross multiply the to get the answer. This week we only had 4 days due to labour weekend, which means we did not make it to the ALC. During tech arts this week, we learnt lots on the drums, guitar and keyboard. We learnt how to use two hands when playing the keyboard and leant how to play 'London Bridge' and a couple of other songs. This week I finished my writing about the Giant Panda. I leaned the they originate from China and that are preys to snow leopards. I also finished my hypothisis and my variables for science fair. My question is 'How does the surface affect how high a ball bounces'. This will be a lot easy to test than my previous question. I can't wait to see my board after it finished and I'm exited for science fair.

Week 3, Term 2

On Monday, we had a average-timed assembly. On Tuesday, we had our first new lesson on Music for tech arts. We learnt how to play the A-Train on a keyboard. We also learnt about salsa dance and music. On Wednesday, band camp left so we didn't have any French or jump jam. We also started note-taking and sense i'm doing Giant panda, I learnt a lot about them. On Thursday, We didn't have whole school singing be cause band camp were using the Hall. On Friday, we had Friday sport i had Belmont Basketball, first we did lay up drills then dribbling drills then had a game. On Saturday we played Cambridge in rugby and won 74-5. On Sunday, we had Gwynne shield trials. There was a big turn out although we did not have enough players for 3 teams, we had well over enough for two.

Week 2 Term 2

This week we had a lot of testing at tech arts and made sherbet and bath bombs. We also learnt skills in lacrosse and played end zone, which is a game where you have to pass the lacrosse ball into a circle of cones without running with it. We also learnt tricks, under our legs and behind our backs. In maths, we did a geometry test which was hard. We also learnt about bearings and how to measure them. In french we learnt how to say months, days and numbers from 21-39. On monday, last block, we had a substitute teacher. Saturday we played a pre-season (although other grades have alrerady started) rugby and won 82-0 against cambridge.

Term 2 Week 1

This week we were told about Science Fair. We have to pick a topic, do fair tests, and put it all onto a board. We also have to write a log book, where you write a diary, all about science Fair. If it all goes right, I will be doing mine on, how does the speed of a cricket ball, affect the swing. Its all due on the end of week 8. We also had trials for WIMS basketball and I have made the Short cut of WIMS Basketball. We had trials for Belmont rugby which is in week 9. We have another trial next week. We done a lot about maths, I learnt the angles in side polygon. To find out what a angle is inside of a polygon, you find the total amount of angles and add together the shown angles and subtract the from the total angle. We also listened to a presenter named Mike King, who told an interesting story about his life and what happens being addicted to drugs and alcohol.

Starting at the top left, Roger Tuivasa-Sheck. He is my all-round favourite Rugby League Player. Underneath that is the all blacks logo as I support them. Below that Is Brendon McCullum because I see him as my idol. I have Malakai Fekitoa in the all blacks jersey because I want to play for them one day. I have the chipotle because I have always wanted to try it. I have Kane Williamson because he is my favourite cricketer. I have yeezy boosts because they are my favourite pair of shoes and hope to get some. I have a siberian husky because they are my favourite breed of dogs. I have a sloth because the are one of my favourite animals and hope to meet one. I have J. Cole Because he is my favourite artist. I have Kyrie Irving and the NBA logo because i hope to one day, play for and with them.I have the Faze Clan logo because one day, I hope to play for them.

I also have my dream rugby and basketball shoes up the top. I have the Black caps logo because I wish to play cricket for them. I have my name, Hayden, and the year, 2016.
